Liv's story
Liv is a highly qualified, knowledgeable and passionate educational professional who joins LCE Academy with experience beyond her years. Her unconditional commitment to the welfare of children is reflected in her First-Class Honours Degree in BA (Hons) Teaching, Learning and Child Development, in which her dissertation focused on the mental health and wellbeing support provided for pupils within education.
Liv is looking forward to working collaboratively with the team, particularly the pastoral lead, CBT therapists and external professionals, to ensure our pupils are provided with the intensive and personalised support they require to enhance their potential and best prepare them for future opportunities.
Complementing her training, Liv brings a career history across both primary and secondary education. In her early experience, she enjoyed her time at Thomas Gray Primary School, Bootle, and St Stephen's Church of England Primary School, Bury. Most recently, Liv served as an Education Health Care Assistant for two years at a specialist SEMH and ASC school.
Liv feels that supporting pupils to maximise and fulfil their potential is a passion she can achieve as part of the team. She is emphatic in her belief that every child deserves to have their emotional needs met, so they can access their educational environment positively and successfully and be prepared for a happy and fulfilled life post-16.
