Andy's story

Andy brings an incredibly varied professional background to LCE Academy, having transitioned into education following an earlier career within the military.

After entering the teaching profession, Andy established himself as a highly experienced primary practitioner and progressed into middle leadership. His previous experiences have helped shape a calm, disciplined and purposeful approach that combines high expectations with an understanding of the individual circumstances influencing each pupil.

As a trauma-informed and innovative practitioner, Andy recognises the importance of establishing secure foundations before expecting young people to make sustained educational progress. His ability to combine structure with creativity provides pupils with engaging opportunities while maintaining clarity, consistency and purpose.

Andy joins LCE Academy committed to ensuring pupils are supported both strategically and effectively.
