Reflection & Mindfulness
Our Reflection and Mindfulness provision offers dedicated opportunities for pupils to pause, reflect, and develop a greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Through structured mindfulness activities, quiet reflection, and guided practices, pupils learn strategies to manage stress, improve focus, and build emotional resilience. This provision supports overall wellbeing and personal growth, helping pupils to develop self-regulation, confidence, and a positive mindset that enhances both learning and everyday life.
Values & Ethics
Our Values and Ethics provision encourages pupils to thoughtfully explore moral principles, personal values, and ethical decision-making within a supportive and respectful environment. Through discussion, reflection, and real-life scenarios, pupils are guided to consider the impact of their choices on themselves and others. This programme supports the development of integrity, empathy, and responsibility, helping pupils to make informed, respectful, and ethical decisions that positively influence their behaviour, relationships, and role within the wider community.
Community & Charity
Our Community and Charity programme encourages pupils to actively engage with their local and wider communities through volunteering, fundraising, and charitable initiatives. By participating in meaningful projects, pupils develop empathy, compassion, and a sense of social responsibility, learning the value of giving back and supporting others. The programme fosters teamwork, leadership, and communication skills while highlighting the positive impact that individuals can make. Through these experiences, pupils cultivate a strong sense of citizenship and an understanding of their role in contributing to a fairer, more connected society.
In accordance with statutory government guidance, parents and carers retain the legal right to request the withdrawal of their children from any non-statutory elements of the RSE curriculum. We are fully committed to maintaining transparent communication with families regarding these lessons, ensuring that parental choices are respected while continuing to support the broader development, personal well-being, and safeguarded education of all our pupils.
