Art, Music & Performing Arts
Our extended curriculum in Art provides a vibrant and inclusive creative space where students explore visual art, design, music, and the performing arts. Through hands-on projects, collaborative workshops, and opportunities to experiment with a wide range of materials and techniques, students are encouraged to express their individuality and develop confidence in their creative voice
Physical Education, Fitness & Sports Leadership
Physical Education and Sport at LCE Academy is designed to promote lifelong health, physical fitness, and a positive attitude towards active living. Through a diverse range of sports, fitness activities, and leadership opportunities, students develop physical competence, resilience, and confidence in their abilities. The programme places strong emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship, while also encouraging students to take on leadership roles.
Construction, Cooking Horticulture & Practical Skills
Our extended curriculum in practical and life skills offers students valuable hands-on learning experiences through construction, cooking, horticulture, and a wide range of practical disciplines. Students develop creativity, problem-solving, and independence by working on real-world projects that encourage planning, making, and evaluating. The programme promotes self-sufficiency, responsibility, and resilience, equipping learners with essential skills for everyday life and future pathways. By connecting learning to practical outcomes, students gain confidence, practical knowledge, and an appreciation for craftsmanship, sustainability, and teamwork.
Our vocational pathways programme is designed to support students in identifying and developing their individual strengths, interests, and career aspirations. Through personalised learning plans, practical experiences, and targeted guidance, students are empowered to explore a range of vocational options that align with their skills and ambitions
